Found an interesting post with lots of little nods towards historic stop motion animations. Interesting little bit of knowledge.

Tin Ni Tus

Just watched this, reminded me of Silent Hill even before the siren started to ring. Something about the voice acting, and the slight mix of sex and violence that manifest on an emotional level based around the characters deep emotional scars. Is interesting.

The Piano

Little animation, so-so in my opinion, not that I could do better, thought it was more interesting towards the beggining, focusing directly on the piano, didnt like it when It trailed off towards the middle, should have been a shot featuring all the people in his life playing allongside him in my opinion. Anyways here it is, great tune tho.

I need to look at more of this guys work, but here is a clip of "Alice" that I was shown by my Lecturer Anica in my second year of uni. I remember being completely fascinated by this interpretation. I hope that I get to see the whole thing soon.

Flora, which I found strange and disturbing...

Dimensions of Dialog which I fount almost erotic at first, then just strange. I think it was the expressions on the female characters face that I liked at first. It is a shame about the quality of the version I have linked to.

Loopy Boopy Dolls

Hey, got pointed in the direction of some interesting dolls/ puppets just now, think they are really interesting. All of them are hand made, sell for about $150.00 each I thinks, which sounds fair to me. The eyes on them I think are the most unique and creepy part. I like them.

Stop Mation

A friend of mine in Manchester pointed me to her brothers google page. He has some realy impresive stop motion annimations up their. The majority use Lego and are touched up with some special effects. Im realy impressed, he is only 12 years old and allready has a nice portfolio. Damn.
So Impressed.
